Life Unsorted

Lord you ask me to live

with life unsorted

with incompletion

with imperfection.

You ask me to worship

when things are untidy

when hopes are dashed

with boxes spilled.

You ask me to serve

with questions unanswered

with problems unsolved

with lists unticked.

In the nitty-gritty of life

with the flawed

with my weakness

you are my strength.

I can come walk with you

day after day.
